The Milwaukee Milkmen joined the American Association for the 2019 season after Wichita ceased operations. After a last place finish in their inaugural season, the Milkmen promoted Anthony Barone to manager and won the Miles Wolff Cup in their second season in 2020.

The AA’s first-ever Wisconsin team, Milwaukee has maintained their status as a regular contender, reaching the postseason in five of the last six seasons.

A fixture for the franchise’s first three seasons (2019-21), Adam Brett Walker slugged 77 home runs with 215 RBI in just 255 games, setting the American Association record with 33 homers in 2021 and winning Player of the Year honors in 2020 & 21 before moving on to a successful stint in Japan (Photo: Milwaukee Milkmen)
